23 May EMCEI Conference Marrakesh

The 6th EMCEI (Euro-Mediterranean Conference for Environmental Integration) took place in Marrakesh, Morocco, in mid-May 2024. The SaliDraajuj team not only participated in the conference with a variety of presentations by our researchers, but also hosted a special session on “Salinity in arid ecosystems”. This was the perfect opportunity to present the latest results to a wide audience and to network with other researchers working on environmental issues in the Maghreb and Mediterranean region and around the world. We also took the opportunity to meet with a large part of the SaliDraajuj team to update each other on the latest progress and plan the next steps in the final phase of the project.
