The most recent socio-economic field trip took place in June 2023, where the socio-economic team revisited the Middle Draa valley to conduct fieldwork to gather data on groundwater governance from the Faija and Fezouata areas. The goal was to assess the challenges and opportunities presented by each case, aiming to establish effective groundwater governance systems that promote a more sustainable use of aquifers. The research is currently in progress and being documented for publication.
